Install Athena
In this step, we will perform an additional crawler job to update metadata into the data catalog for parquet data after being transformed.
- Access the interface of the [Amazon Athena] service(https://ap-southeast-1.console.aws.amazon.com/athena/home?region=ap-southeast-1)
- Click Get Started.
- Click setup a query result location in Amazon S3.
- Set Query result location to s3://yourname-0000-datalake/query-result/.
- Click Save.
We are ready to query the data in the next step.
